Painting

(please note that we only undertake to do the following on full restorations only, and not on individual items such as pushbike frames etc)

We offer a painting and finishing service for bike frames, tanks, and other fittings. Coatings offered include traditional wet sprays, powder coatings, chroming and anodising.

Wet Spray

We can offer wet spray painting in either an air dry system or stove enamelled in a wide range of standard colours. Wet sprays offer a more traditional finish suited to classic & vintage machines. Colour matching is also available.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is available in a range of finishes including gloss, matt and textured. Power coating offers a generally brighter and more vibrant finish to wet spray and is generally a little cheaper. Powder coated finished also offer thicker and more uniform finishes.

Chroming

Items can be chromed or re-chromed in either a dull or a bright finish. All chrome finishes incorporate a copper base with a secondary nickel coating. We chrome most items although we do not rechrome exhaust pipes. Other plating services are available including zinc, copper and silver as well as chemi-black.

Anodising

Aluminium items can be anodised in a range of bright colours. Anodising is ideal for preventing corrosion on aluminium parts and offers a good base for a suitable top coating such as a powder coating.
